RP Info / Character History

This section is incomplete. I'll be refining and adding to it as time moves on, so please be patient!

The RP that Tenar comes from is a "future" RP(/AU) set in the Dragon Ball Z world that takes a very large hunk of its information/setting from the closed-down Dragon Ball Online. A lot of ideas were used from that, such as the "new" schools as well as the techniques that the characters can pick up being decided by whether or not said techniques had become "common knowledge" (IE, was in a basic class's level-up path). This, among other things, has given the group a very serious leg-up in strength even young, if just by the sheer fact of all the options and training available to them. On top of that, we also use some "generation" ideas, such as Tenar being the son of Android 17 (as GT doesn't exist in either Online or this RP, Hell Fighter 17/Super 17 never existed either, and so he simply "settled down"). As well, the plotlines of movies also aren't a part of this canon 'verse, but some characters who were in the movies are recycled for various purposes.

For the group itself, Tenar is a human and sort of the "main character" (though being an RP, all of the group is technically the mains) and definitely the leader of it. Besides Tenar, the group also has Surito (Monokudajin, an original race of tiny feline-like creatures), Chihaya (human), and Kohlrain (half-Saiyan, her mother having been incapacitated on earth for a majority of the canon storyline).

Surito and Tenar trained in the New Turtle School under Krillin, being joined by Chihaya later on. The three of them passed Krillin's tests and training, but during the month of rest before they decided what to do next, the revived Red Ribbon Army made its move. Android 13 kidnapped Tenar (who was only 8 at this point) and nearly killed his mother, after which he was used as blackmail to force 17 to obey. A few other (unnumbered) androids attempted to do the same for Marron, but as the androids didn't wait for 18 to leave as 13 had for 17, they were instead destroyed and their hand tipped.

Surito and Chihaya were also kidnapped for reasons unknown (though as Chihaya had been with Tenar then, it's suspected so she couldn't warn 17). Together, the three of them managed to break out and start trying to find their way back home from the icy RRA base. When the news of their escape got out (despite General Navy's best efforts), 17 and 18 went on a rampage, destroying every base they could find in an attempt to get some information as to where the children were.

Eventually, the kids were stopped at Korin's Tower by 13, 14, and 15. While they couldn't do much to actually damage the Androids, they managed to at least distract them and buy enough time for 17 and 18 to appear. Taking on 13 and 14 respectively, the three kids managed to combine their strength and ki and temporarily disable 15. This only prompted 13 to absorb his two cohorts and transform, but even transformed he was no match for 17 and 18, who finished him off handily with a combined attack.

Each of them returned home, and though they all were shaken up in their own ways, the months that passed allowed for them to heal from their experience and unwind. It was about a year later that Surito finally went after the other two, talking them into coming with her to the place where they'd faced the androids -- that tower, she said, had been Korin's Tower, and if they could climb it, they would be able to get an incredible strength. With none of them wanting to feel as helpless as they had when the other androids attacked, all of them agreed to climb it and bid their family farewell for a time.

During the trek back to the tower, they met up with Kohlrain, who had been out training herself. The four of them hit it off quite well, and decided to all stick together in order to get stronger and become the "new heroes" of the world, for both the combined reason of it being a world they wanted to protect as well as their own individual reasons (with Surito wanting to surpass Son Goku, Tenar wanting to stand on even ground with his father, Kohlrain wanting to carry on her race's pride, and Chihaya wanting to have a skill she could call her own). With these innocent desires the group possessed, they were accepted by Korin for his "special training" once they had managed to claw their way up to the tower.

It was about four months later that the group managed to win, not through individual effort, but by combining their strengths. Korin, impressed, revealed to them what the actual training had been, as well as the fact that there was someone very special that had been waiting for them to finish.
